If you'd like to own all the albums on the Reviews page - that's new ones by Gotan Project, Pet Shop Boys, Schneider TM, Shooter Jennings, The Lotterboys, Jhelisa, Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, Daedelus, and the Essex Green, as well as a Tina Britt reissue, and compilation/mix CDs from Thievery Corporation, Platipus Records and Dogbox Records - simply answer the following question:

All entrants last month guessed correctly (and unsurprisingly) that Mick Jagger, rather than Nik Kershaw or Howard Jones, was lead singer of the Rolling Stones. We had entrants running the gamut from Romania to Australia so thank you all for entering. April's winner, however, was Dana Ferrara of Tucson, Arizona, USA whose package of 14 CDs is winging its way to him right now.

Competition No.2



Peter Hook is interviewed in Rapid Fire this month and we have two tickets to see him DJ as part of the Hacienda Sound System with Graeme Parke and Bez at Get Loaded In The Park on Clapham Common, London, UK, on 27th August. Also appearing at the one day festival will be Babyshambles, Adamski, De La Soul, The Buzzcocks, The Slits, Justin Robertson, Green Velvet, Tiga, Erol Alkan and many others. For the two runners up Beatmag has copies of the triple CD 'Hacienda Classics' compiled and mixed by Peter Hook to give away.
